The President held video conference with heads of state and administrative bodies
15 Dec., 2025, 11:20The President announced during the video conference the decision to declare a state of emergency in the economy. This temporary measure is once again necessary to overcome the difficulties associated with natural gas supplies to the republic. The emerging risks of insecurity are related to the slowdown in settlement transactions within the European Union. Deputy Chairman of the Pridnestrovian Government Sergei Obolonik emphasized that all participants are taking all possible measures to restore normal gas supplies. However, gas supplies for industrial use are limited to fully meet the needs of the population of Pridnestrovie in the current situation. The presidential decree declaring the state of emergency will be signed shortly and sent to the Supreme Council.
The topic of electricity supply was also addressed by the meeting participants. The events unfolding in Ukraine on Saturday and Sunday have impacted the Pridnestrovian energy sector. Emergencies, emergency switching, and the activation of automatic control systems led to some interruptions in the electricity and heat supply systems. Accidents are being resolved promptly, reported Sergey Obolonik.
the heads of state administrations reported during the meeting on the situation in the republic's cities and districts. They focused on the organization of public transportation. It was noted that there remain neighborhoods in cities that lack or are insufficiently provided with trolleybuses and minibuses. Vadim Krasnoselsky instructed the government, parliamentarians, and relevant specialists from state administrations to hold a thematic meeting with representatives of transportation organizations. The agenda will also include the issue of disciplined use of passenger transportation benefits.
Another pressing issue raised at the meeting was the fight against solid waste dumping near waste containers. It is not uncommon for specialists from relevant services to empty waste bins, leaving piles of waste stored outside the containers, growing, turning into unauthorized dumps in the middle of populated areas.
Meeting participants discussed the development of a land registry. The President called for this work to be intensified. It was noted that 49.4% of lands 181335 hectares out of a total of 367100 hectares have been registered. According to PMR Government Chairman Alexander Rosenberg, Kamenka District is the most productive in this area, with 70% of the information entered into the cadastral register. The following districts are also listed: Slobodzeya District – 60% completed, Dubossary District – 52%, Rybnitsa and Grigoriopol District – 40% each, Tiraspol – 30%, and Bendery – 25%.
Regarding the creation of an electronic registry office database, most cities and districts are on schedule. The exceptions are Tiraspol and Rybnitsa, which are significantly behind schedule.
