The Sweet Gifts for Children

Traditional New Year's gifts are being prepared, following the instructions of the President. These 985 gifts will be presented on behalf of the President to 1316 children in social care institutions – orphans' homes, boarding schools, rehabilitation centers – as well as children with special needs and children of disabled defenders of the PMR. Among the recipients of sweets There are 276 pupils of Suvorov college, 148 cadets, and 22 students of the Republican Educational and Training Complex named after Makarenko. In addition, treats will be given to children with cancer and their younger siblings (157 gifts). A special approach was taken in preparing 126 assorted treats for young Pridnestrovians suffering from diabetes: medical recommendations for this diagnosis have been taken into account. In total, approximately 3000 kilogram of the gifts are being prepared.
