VADIM KRASNOSELSKY ABOUT LIFTING OF UKRAINIAN SANCTIONS FROM MOLDOVA STEEL WORKS

Tiraspol, May 28. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Sanctions were lifted from the Moldava Steel Works (MSW) by results of the enterprise assets check. The President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselsky reported about it during the meeting with the staff of the PMR’s MFA.

Since last summer Kiev imposed sanctions against MSW because the enterprise allegedly was the Russian property. As Vadim Krasnoselsky noted, almost absolute shareholding belonged to the state – the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

The Head of the state reminded that the MFA of the PMR addressed all participants of the 5+2 negotiation format (including Ukraine) a request to carry out the assets inspection.

At the end of March 2019 the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine excluded JSC Moldavian Steel Works from the sanctions list.
