Tiraspol, December 23. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky is confident that last year’s deep energy crisis won’t be repeated. Such opinion was expressed by the head of state in a conversation with the chief editors of Pridnestrovian television channels.

“There’re always risks, undoubtedly. However, the republic’s leadership, personally I, my subordinates, my employees, the administration are doing everything possible to prevent this from happening again. And, of course, the Russian Federation is no exception. I’m confident that the situation that occurred on January 1, 2025, won’t be repeated,” Vadim Krasnoselsky said.

The head of state noted that even taking into account the natural gas supplies’ cessation through Ukraine on January 1, 2025, as well as the consequences that arose as a result, many problems could have been avoided if direct dialogue had been established and the negotiation process with Moldova had been implemented.

The President also pay tribute to the Moldovan side.

“They’re helping somewhere, making concessions. That’s true. This means we’re working together. I can’t blame Moldova for currently obstructing gas supplies to Pridnestrovie. That’s not true. For what say that? On the contrary, there’s an understanding that we can’t leave the left Dniester’s bank, we can’t leave Pridnestrovie without gas, without energy,” Vadim Krasnoselsky concluded.

The whole President’s interview will be broadcast on the First Pridnestrovian TV Channel and TSV. An audio version will also be available on Radio 1. Also, you can read interview on the Novosti Pridnestrovya news agency website and in the Pridnestrovie newspaper.
