Vadim Krasnoselsky instructed the Civil Registry Offices to step up work on digitalization and the transition to storing documentation in electronic form

08 Sep., 2025, 15:40

The issue was raised in the course of the meeting with the President that not all government agencies are promptly switching to storing data in electronic form. The Civil Registry Offices of a number of cities are delaying this process, continuing to use paper media in particular. Vadim Krasnoselsky considers this unacceptable, and called the arguments given about the impossibility of stepping up the process far-fetched. The PMR President recommended paying attention to similar work carried out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the PMR and adopting successful experience.

It was noted that employees of the internal affairs bodies carried out large-scale and painstaking work over the first nine months of 2023 to enter information about 70 thousand preschoolers and schoolchildren of the republic into a single database, which makes it possible to keep records of children and their parents. A special tab "Family" has been created in the Atlas database. According to the Minister of Internal Affairs Vitaly Neagu a significant number of previously unregistered minors who attended kindergartens and schools were identified during the work carried out. Employees went to addresses and double-checked the information. All applications from citizens on form No. 1 were digitized during the same period. That is, the total number of processed documents is 450 thousand units.

44 thousand documents received from the Unified State Social Insurance Fund were digitized in 2024, double-checked and, if necessary, adjusted. The formed database of pensioners helped in the implementation of the automated travel payment system project.

Vadim Krasnoselsky instructed the registry offices to intensify work on digitalization and the transition to storing documentation in electronic form. Control over execution is with the heads of state administrations.
