Video conference: discussion of the current state of affairs in the cities and districts of the republic

The President spoke about the upcoming date that is significant for every Pridnestrovian during a video conference with the heads of state authorities and administration: the 1st of August is the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow for those killed as a result of large-scale aggression against the Pridnestrovian people. Memorial events will be held in cities and districts. Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled his instruction to take special control of the burial sites of the defenders of Pridnestrovie. Not only memorials and Heroes' Alleys, but separately located graves must be in order as well. The local state administration will take care of the resting place in the event that the deceased defenders do not have relatives.

The date of August 1 was also mentioned by the participants of the meeting in the context of the launch of the automated payment system. The system will be fully operational on both intracity and intercity routes from the beginning of next month. Chairman of the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Alexander Rosenberg emphasizes: the passenger uses public transport for free if the validator does not accept payment for some reason. There will be no cash payments. It was noted that at the moment 380 units of vehicles are equipped with the units, and 792 minibuses are available. The meeting participants noted that the introduction of the new mechanism revealed many problems in the field of passenger transportation. For example, 685 out of the 792 vehicles are over 15 years old. A detailed discussion will continue in the course of the government meeting today.

They talked about the organization of solid waste removal from the private sector. The heads informed about the coverage of the population by the service, the activity of concluding contracts and payment. It was noted that minor debt of citizens almost always exists. The debt has increased slightly at present.

The heads of agricultural regions reported to the country's leadership on the progress of the harvesting campaign. Grain and leguminous crops have been harvested by 40%. In total, 85 thousand tons of winter wheat have been threshed in the republic at the moment. That is, the country's own needs are definitely met. The average yield in the republic is 33.8 c/ha. Experts expect that by the end of the harvesting the overall figure will be higher.
